Janet Niezgoda will sing the National Anthem and a color guard will post the colors before the cars reach the finish line.
The Chamber Ambassadors will escort the drivers to lunch inside the Civic Center.
Lunch available for purchase for the general public.
Our local Territory Marshals actors will be in character to help monitor the cars while unattended, but beware there just might be a show down!

Don’t miss the arrival of the 25th Anniversary Great Race as they arrive in downtown Eastland, Texas for lunch. Nearly 100 race teams will roar on to the Courthouse Square driving Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Street Rods, at the midway point for stage eight of the world’s richest and longest running classic car race.

Finish show will begin at 1:35 pm locally.

Things will kick off on the Square with a brief ceremony that includes the Pledge, Color Guard provided by the U.S. Marines, National Anthem, Invocation, and our State Representative Jim Keffer will welcome our guests.

Lunch for the Racer’s will be provided and served by the Eastland Fire Department. Tables and chairs will be set up for our Great American Race Guests on and around the Courthouse Lawn.

For those who would like to cool off, seating will also be proved inside the historic Eastland County Museum, also located on the Square.

We will have live classic rock from the EXIT 343 band, and Fearless Fernandez from KEAN 105 will broadcast live and help keep our audience entertained.
